Air Force Soars with Digital Transformation: Power Platform Suite Revolutionizes Operations

The implementation of the Power Platform suite has led to significant cost savings, time reduction, and improved efficiency across various functional categories. In 5 days, we received over 80 Success Stories from around the Air and Space Forces which were collected, analyzed, and categorized.

Here are some major quantitative and qualitative benefits:

    • Finance: Financial reporting and tracking has been streamlined with automated reporting and real-time data access. Power BI has enabled the Air Force to generate financial impacts of an Executive Order across 1000+ NAF Activities.

    • Engineering: Engineering and technical analyses have been improved with automated definition of Make/Model metadata from the SCORE data to enable technical analyses ranging from Manufacture Date correction to cost-of-use estimation.

    • Management: Self-service innovation has empowered Airmen to build customized solutions, resulting in increased job satisfaction and innovation.

    • Program/Project Management: Program and project management has been improved with real-time data access and automated reporting.

The USAF is making significant strides in digital transformation with the implementation of the Power Platform suite. By leveraging self-service innovation, the Air Force has been able to revolutionize the way they do business and empower Airmen to build customized solutions.
